Here I am motivating to engage my ego publicly by starting a blog. Not sure whether the motivation will last or whether it will maintain and grow, but here we go...
Hi -- I know you you big mouthed liberal.... Seriously, great to have you do this. I'll be off to China in February for 7 months, so I won't be blogging this site, instead I'll have my own. China monitors EVERYTHING. So we'll have to become sweet little ole things that are very, very happy with the status quo. -- M
Been mostly out loud for a long time. Committing some of the noise to readable bytes.
I occasionally go by my initials, ba, but I'm using a nom de revolucion bestowed on me by the good fellows who operate Progressive Blend Radio. You'll have to check with them for an explanation of the name, though I suspect that my general point of view and method of displaying it goes a fair way to providing at least some clues.
I'm a lawyer by trade, historian and history teacher by education, and a political commentator by inclination. My mom tells me I was following politics by the time I was about 6 years old. I don't know why, it just always seemed to matter to me. It might be because I took the fact that my birthday is July 4th (yes it is) seriously as an American. I believe the evidence shows this country was founded on classically liberal principles and that we need to rediscover what that means and how it applies in our time if we wish to survive as the kind of nation our founders envisioned.
